the Professional Headshot
“If the photographer is interested in the people in front of his lens, and if he is compassionate, it’s already a lot. The instrument is not the camera but the photographer.” — Eve Arnold
When working with clients that need the often dreaded headshot I always try and remind them that we are friends. We are here in this moment to capture their image in a way that reflects who they are. Moving my subjects toward a posture of confidence and kindness and their most photogenic selves through compassion and friendly interaction is one of my strengths and my ultimate goal.
