Building stronger relationships together
Relationships can be deeply meaningful, and they can also bring moments of tension, distance, and misunderstanding that feel hard to move through alone. Couples therapy offers a space to slow things down and begin to understand the patterns that keep you caught, especially in moments when disconnection feels most present.
My work is primarily grounded in attachment-based approaches, especially Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), with an openness to integrating other perspectives such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), existential-humanistic ideas, and other approaches as they fit the needs of the couple.
What sessions focus on
Each 75-minute session is a space to:
Notice and understand patterns that may be creating disconnection or conflict
Practice communicating with more clarity and openness
Work through difficult emotions and relational hurts together
Explore new ways of responding to one another with more care and understanding
Who this is for
Couples therapy may be helpful if you are:
Feeling stuck in recurring arguments or cycles
Experiencing distance, tension, or disconnection
Wanting to strengthen trust, intimacy, and emotional understanding
Seeking support as you navigate a transition or challenge in your relationship
What you can expect
In our work together, the focus is on creating a space where both partners feel heard and understood. From there, we slow things down enough to make sense of what’s happening between you and begin practicing new ways of relating that feel more connected and workable in daily life.
